Panasonic’s LUMIX G Captures Olympic Memories

The Getty Gallery, Stratford, will host a special photography exhibit taking place over the course of the 2012 Olympic Games in London. This extraordinary exhibit will give people a chance to get a front row seat at the games all through absorbing the beauty and action captured in the pictures that the Gallery will host. Panasonic is honored to be an Official Worldwide Olympic Partner, and is also sponsoring the Gallery. The Gallery will be located in Westfield Shopping Centre, a 30 second walk from the entrance to Olympic Park.

Visitors will be able to see a daily selection of images from the 2012 Olympic Games taken with Panasonic’s LUMIX G cameras. These photos will give the visitors an up close, clear and fascinating look at the current Olympic Games and will be on display from July 4th through September 30th. Additionally, there will be photographs depicting previous Olympic Games, aiming to keep the tradition and sportsmanship alive throughout the next few months.

The London 2012 Olympic Games are the first games that can be experienced in 3D, both on your television and now in the Getty Gallery – thanks to Panasonic’s Smart VIERA TV’s which will display the Olympic snapshots in 3D at the Gallery . Not to mention that Panasonic is providing Getty’s photographers with the full LUMIX G system, so that they can capture the best, most unique images possible.
